The six spheres
Six areas of life, each read from a fixed set of chart positions. The names are the ones the app shows.
- Identity: who you are and the direction you take. Read from Sun, Moon, Pluto and True Node; the 1st house; the Ascendant and Midheaven.
- Love: love, friendship and the hard conversations. Read from Venus, Moon, Mars, Juno, Vesta, Lilith and Neptune; the 5th and 7th houses.
- Body: energy, sleep and health. Read from Sun, Mars, Chiron and Pluto; the 6th house; the Ascendant.
- Money: career, finances and work. Read from Venus, Jupiter, Saturn and Ceres; the 2nd, 6th and 10th houses; the Midheaven and Part of Fortune.
- Home: family, the home and parents. Read from Moon, Saturn, Ceres and Juno; the 4th house.
- Mind: thinking, learning and ideas. Read from Mercury, Uranus, Pallas and Jupiter; the 3rd and 9th houses.
A sphere reading is written from those named positions, the aspects they make and the fixed stars in those houses.
Where a sphere has a score
- The natal sphere reading has no score. It is a text written from the positions listed above, and it names the placement, aspect and orb behind each statement.
- A score appears where something is measured against your chart: this week’s transits (the weekly horoscope), a second chart (compatibility), a place (locations) and a year (the solar return).
- Each of those scores is calculated by a fixed rule from the aspects and house positions involved, on a ten-point scale. The same input always gives the same number; the text is written afterwards, from that number and the contacts behind it.
- A score is not a probability of an event. It says how strongly an area of life is touched, and in which direction.
Why this lens
Twelve houses are correct but technical. Most people don’t think in “5th house creative self-expression with Sun on Leo cusp”. They think in love, body, work, family, learning. The six-sphere lens maps the chart onto language people already use, without throwing away the underlying factors.

Why six spheres instead of twelve houses?
Twelve houses are the traditional astrology lens, and they are still in the chart. Six spheres are a higher-level practical lens that maps multiple chart factors onto everyday life domains. They make a chart easier to read at a glance without dumbing it down.
Are the spheres deterministic?
The numbers are: the same input always gives the same score. What they mean is not. Astrology is symbolic, the spheres describe themes that show up more or less prominently, and no score predicts an outcome. The reading frames each sphere as a lens for reflection, not a verdict.
