What if I don’t know my birth time?

What do I need to generate my chart?

Date of birth, birth time (as exact as you have it), and birthplace. NatalChart.AI resolves the city to coordinates, looks up the historical timezone in the IANA Time Zone Database, and converts to UTC before computing the chart with Swiss Ephemeris.
What if I don't know my exact birth time?

You can still generate a chart — NatalChart.AI uses noon as a fallback and clearly marks which factors depend on the exact time (Ascendant, Midheaven, house cusps). Planetary placements and aspects remain reliable even with imprecise time.
How accurate is the calculation?

Planet positions are accurate to arc-seconds — well below the orb threshold any astrologer would use. It's the same Swiss Ephemeris calculation layer used by professional astrology software such as astro.com and TimePassages.
Will I see invented placements?

Can I share my birth chart with friends?

A friend who opens the link sees the reading text or the visual wheel you chose to share — not your full account. Your raw birth data isn't exposed publicly beyond what's in the shared reading, and you can delete the chart or revoke access anytime from settings.

Can I find my Rising sign and Moon sign?

Yes. Your Rising sign (Ascendant) needs an exact birth time because it — along with the Midheaven and house cusps — is set by the angles rotating roughly one degree every four minutes. Your Moon sign can change within a single birth day since the Moon moves fast, so an exact date and time clarifies which sign it falls in.
